Terminator has finally opened up at SFMM. It has been getting some really great reviews, but the theming is so so. Jake was there for opening day and he should be getting on here sometime soon to get some more info and a review. A few RCPro members have posted some great pictures of the coaster. In particular I love the enterance sign. I’m still not a fan of the stuff they put on the side of the trains.

The LA Times Travel Blog recently posted pictures of Six Flags Magic Mountian’s Terminator Salvation coasters trains. I believe this is the first time I’ve ever seen diamond plate on a coaster. It looks awesome. On the other hand, I hate the molded sides. I think they look cheap and out of place. They would of looked better as more diamond plate or some type of brushed aluminum.

West Coaster Bash was held last week and from the sound of it, it was a blast. During construction tours given of Terminator Salvation: The Ride a lot of great information was shared. A few videos have appeared that show the full talk that was given.

According to this article on the LA Travel Blog SFMM will be announcing the Terminator sometime this week. This coaster will be replacing Psyclone, which was dismantled several years ago (thank God!). The new woodie will be a GCI (as a lot of them seem to be these days) and feature a station fly through. Other notables are the Millennium Flyer trains and the 100 ft. stature.
I have got to say that this looks like a solid addition for Magic Mountain. My only concern is capacity, but with all of …

What about “Danger Keep Out” do people not get. And how many times have we heard this story this summer. This time it was at Magic Mountain, and the coaster in question is Ninja. A 20 man was hit by a train while trying to retrieve a hat. He was found laying unconscious but still breathing. His medical condition remains unknown
Six Flags’ medical staff was apparently on the scene within two minutes (not too shabby if you as me). You can read the rest of the story here. I really don’t …
