If you are not used to seeing FSMP, don’t be suprised, it took me a bit to get it down. Freestyle Music Park recently installed a new sign in the front of the park. It is one of a number of changes they are making to the park. I am digging the direction they are going an the excitment for a park that essentailly the same thing as a failed park. Freestyle Music Park is taking no time in trying to change the image of the park. The Led Zeppelin coaster is being repainted pink and has recieved a siderweb looking metal piece over the back fins of the zeppelin. I believe they have to change the name becasue of licensing, but it is a big change. Below is the latest details on what they might be doing with the ride:

Last week we learned that Hard Rock and the new owners of HRP could not come to an agreement for the naming right for the park. This morning the owners released the new name of the park, and it is… Freestyle Music Park. Yup, Freestyle Music Park. The full press release is below.

For those of you that have not been keeping up on the Hard Rock Park saga, which has been (I hate to use the pun) a roller coaster ride, from it’s excited opening, to it’s rather dismal operating season, back up to being sold for to this.. No name, and no identity.
The park is to choose a name that will “fit their strategy” within one week, and then plans to open on Memorial Day Weekend. Now.. Am I the only one that sees the problem here? We’re talking six weeks …
