Working in directly the opposite direction of this site, Six Flags has started a blog at the corporate level. And by opposite, I mean they started with Facebook and Twitter and moved to the blogsphere, whereas Coasterdom started a blog, and bounced into Twitter and Facebook later. Origin stories aside, this could be a cool opportunity to share corporate news with the coaster community without going through the typical media sources i.e. the newspaper companies. Our buddy Joel, better known as the Coaster Critic just posted a great interview with Louis Alfieri, the designer of Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit. A few highlights from the article include:

The coaster blogging world is a pretty small and well connect group of people who try to provide the lastest in the amusement industry. Today, NewsPlusNotes updated their site with a new look. I have got to say it looks really, really nice. I especially enjoy the logo. It reminds me of the old Cedar Point animated headers.
