Another week, another weekly stock report.
Disney rose 1.52% to $31.23.
Cedar Fair fell 3.54% to $11.31.
Blackstone fell 3.06% to $13.73.
The Dow(n?) Jones fell about 1% to 10,402 points.
Cedar Fair has dropped below the potential sale level, which may be good news for Kinzel and co. Disney has continued to rise, and Blackstone remains a wavy line. You can see the graph for this stock report right here.

Another week, another stock report!
Disney went up from $29.63 to $30.07.
Cedar Fair dropped from $11.94 to $11.44.
Blackstone went up from $12.70 to $12.82.
The Dow Jones increased from 10,053 to 10,099.14 points.
So the stock market is finally taking an up swing. The down tick in Cedar Fair’s prices is likely due to the uncertainty concerning the Apollo Management buy out, which you can read about in this post: http://www.coasterdom.com/2010/02/11/cedar-fair-sale-not-so-fast-cowpoke/.

Welcome to our third Weekly Stock Report!
This week, the DOW continued on its four week slide, and the amusement industry took a hit as well. Let’s check out the specifics below.
Disney slid 3.46% to $29.54.
Cedar Fair slid only .67% to $11.84.
Blackstone fell a substantial 7.83% to $12.71.
The DJI stumbled 5.62%, so a poor week for the stock market in general. Hopefully things will pick up next week!

Hey there, and welcome to Coasterdom’s first weekly stock report! I have been updating you all via our Twitter account about the stock prices of amusement park companies every day, and now I summarize it all in this report. So let’s see how Disney, Blackstone and Cedar Fair did this week – shall we?
From 1/19/10 – 1/22/10…
Disney (DIS) went from $30.60 to $29.98. So that is a .62 (2%) cent drop for Disney. Not awful, to be sure. You can see the chart for that right here.

Busch Entertainment has been sold to the Blackstone Group, details of which can be found in the link below. My thoughts on the deal? Sounds pretty fantastic – I look forward to see what Blackstone does with the parks as I have a LOT of confidence in their managerial skills (I believe they own or manage at least some of the Hilton Hotels).
So what do you guys think? Apprehensive? Or excited?
