It is a new year, I have a Disneyland pass and go to school just down the road from Anaheim. I am at school three days a week until one, so there is very little reason for me to not swing by Disneyland after school on Friday to unwind. So my first, of probably many visits to come was taken on Friday and I’ll share what I saw and experienced with you on a semi-weekly basis. I don’t want to get caught up in heralding this as a consistent “weekly” …

I thought I would give you all a heads up about my most anticipated enthusiast event of 2010, West Coast Bash. Sponsered by Ride World and Theme Park Review, West Coast Bash is now taking place at Six Flags Magic Mountain AND Knott’s Berry Farm. So for those of you bummed about the lack of Winter Coaster Solace going on this year, this is a great (if not better) alternative!
More information can be found from the links below, but I hope you all take advantage of this really neat opportunity!

Let me first of all wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, or Holiday Season if that’s what you prefer. I hope it has been filled with family, friends, and all that jazz.
I spent my Christmas with my family at Disneyland. Previously I had thought a trip to a theme park on a major holiday is a death wish. However, I am always impressed by how well Disney handles large crowd sizes. It was crowded, with the park hitting capacity for an hour at around 3 P.M I am …

And what upon LA did the Grinch bestow?
A thick blanket, of ghostly white snow.
I’m getting my theme parks mixed up here, but you see where I’m going with this. I visited Universal Studios Hollywood today to check out their Christmas celebration “Grinchmas”. This includes the usual fun decorations, and holiday music, but with a twist. Sort of. The Grinch and the Whos are to be found around the park, particularly in the area which they have sectioned off (I believe it is the same area in which the Michael Myers …

Westcoaster has posted a great photo update from Universal Studios Florida, with an emphasis on Hollywood: Rip, Rockit And Ride. The pictures are great, and really give a feel for what H:RRR is all about. It also makes evident how small the cars are in comparison to how large the track is.
Check out the photos here: http://www.westcoaster.net/updates.php?updateCD=121009&page=1
And if any of you went on H:RRR this season, let us know how it was!

Six Flags Magic Mountain’s salvation has arrived in the form of Terminator Salvation: The Ride. This GCI (GCII?) woodie packs a punch both on-ride, off-ride, and in queue that is unmatched throughout the rest of the park. With better than Batman theming, better than X2 soundtrack, better than Revenge of the Mummy queue, and better than Roar! track, Terminator is the full package, and exactly what the park needed.

After applying at Knott’s yesterday morning, a friend and I decided to go to the Disneyland Resort for a couple of hours so we could check out the newly themed Mickey’s Fun Wheel (Knott’s is only ten or fifteen minutes from Disneyland by city streets). So here are a few pictures from Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyland, enjoy!
The Food and Wine festival is in full swing at California Adventure, and while I have not taken part in it before, it’s a relatively big deal around here (mostly for those in …

It was my first trip to Disneyland since November (good to see I’m getting plenty of use out of that nearly $200 pass :/) and I only took cell phone pictures, which can be viewed here. I had a good time, despite it being rather crowded. I’ll keep this short and sweet, here are a few bullet points of what went on throughout the day.
Tons of construction going on in the Lagoon, we’re talking platforms dump trucks, tons of construction workers, etc.
I finally got inside the Sleeping Beauty Castle …

Alright guys, I’ve been putting this update/editorial/report for far too long, and I’m finally doing it. So.. let us begin, shall we?
My Halloween season started off at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights (That’s a mouthful) on October 3rd. This year’s theme was “Living Your Worst Nightmares” and the ringleader was the master of nightmares himself, Freddy Krueger. Like last year, we saw the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the Thirteenth mazes in top form as usual. However, we also recieved a brand new Nightmare On Elm Street maze that took …
