Carowinds Twitter account has announced that the Intimidator roller coaster has completed its first test run successfully. The video can be seen right here.

It looks like a nice roller coaster, I have always thought so, but it really doesn’t have a lot of “oomph” while going through its course. Of course it was only the first run, and I understand that things change as the ride heats up (it looked especially cold there in the video) so I’ll withhold any true judgment until then.

In any event, it looks like a really fun ride, and I certainly would like to take a spin on it when I get myself out to the east coast!
