Disney’s Brand New Haunted Holiday Website & Contest
Disney has released what is one of, if not the most impressive website they have ever unveiled. Alright, so perhaps that isn’t saying a whole lot, given their previous track record of slow loading and cumbersome websites, something I have maligned rather consistently given my fairly frequent use of Disneyland’s website. However, I am quite happy to announce that they have created a website that is very interactive, quick and very theatrical. But don’t take my word for it, check out your favorite Haunted attractions spotlighted here: http://www.disney.com/HauntedHolidays
Various videos documenting the fortieth anniversary of this, my favorite Disney attraction can be found on the website as well as a way to input your face on one of the stretching portraits found in the “stretching room”. The Haunted Mansion is the head honcho of this website, but there’s more than that to be found. A Nightmare Before Christmas section as well as a Snow White and Pirates of the Caribbean page are also a part of the Haunted Holidays website.
Contest Details: As far as websites go, this is pretty exciting stuff. But that’s not all. I have two copies of The Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion CD to give away. This CD is a must have if you are a fan of The Haunted Mansion, Disneyland, or of vintage amusement park anything! Here’s a link to what it is you’re getting: click me. I will give away one of theseĀ in a drawing at the end of the month, and another I shall give away on Twitter on October 23rd in order to celebrate the re-release of The Nightmare Before Christmas into theaters.
