I was reading a photo trip report over on Theme Park Review today that featured the opening day of Knoebel’s out in Elysburg Pennsylvania. Here’s the link, so you can know what I am referring to.

While I was reading it there came some Flying Turn’s photos, which kind of.. reminded me that this ride existed! They have been building this ride, and modifying this ride, and testing this ride and modifying this ride some more for over three years, and there’s STILL no clear opening date announced for this coaster.

Is this an example of a park that got in over it’s head with an ambitious project? Or was this “to be expected” all along?
