It has been awhile since we have heard anything from the Gravity Group on their new Timberliner trains. Infact, I had all but forgotten about them until today. Holiday World posted a video of the Timberliner cars testing on the Raven. To quote the video:

A few weeks ago, we “loaned out” the coaster track at The Raven for our friends at The Gravity Group to try out the prototype of their Timberliner train. It was great fun to watch the testing and see their delighted faces. They took their toy and went back to Cincinnati and the PTC trains are back on our tracks for the season.

A few interesting things here. First is that they only mention PTC being on the tracks this season. It is a pretty specific timeline and I expect to see Timberliners on the Raven next year or one of the Holiday World coasters. The other thing after watching the video found below is that there only appears to be four cars on the train, and it makes it through the entire circuit. The train flys around the track and doesn’t seem to have any trouble. There is sure a lot of competition out there for wooden coaster trains these days.
