Yikes, that title was a mouthful!
Many of you may know that the Fear Factor show has been removed from Universal Studios Hollywood, and those will most likely know that it is being replaced with a musical based on one of Universal Studios’ classic horror films, Creature of the Black Laggon. In the comments in our latest Poll of the Week along with some postings in the Diamondback thread over at RCPro the term “gimmick” was mentioned a few times, and.. not necessarily in a good way. I thought that this was interesting, and also a little confusing to be perfectly honest. While I understand the desire of coaster enthusiasts to have a “complete ride” I don’t see what’s wrong with a park trying to offer something unique in order to differentiate their product from other parks, after all.. they’re in …

Prowler is finally testing. Just a few days ago they got the trains on the track and it didn’t take long for them to give it a go. Accroding to their blog the ride went through about 20 test runs and moved quickly through the track. Doug pointed out in my last post that the rail will be on the train. They have put it onto the green train and are going to be putting it on the others soon. Check out some more pictures here.
