An employee was setting up a tent for the Texas Open when he found the skeletal remains of a 56 year old woman inside the boundaries of Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The woman who was identified as Kathleen Gutierrez went missing over a year ago, said her son. Seems like an open and shut case, right?

Universal City, California— A rare and exclusive first look at Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated re-imagining of the genre classic, “The Wolfman,” will debut at Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights” as part of the theme park’s unique “Terror Tram.”
The “Terror Tram: The Nightmare Tour” — which expands this year to double the length of previous Halloween tram experiences – will offer an exclusive preview of “The Wolfman” on the tram’s LED screens.

I have a little bit of an update on what’s going on around the Disneyland Resort lately, and some information on what will be going on at Disney’s California Adventure in the years to come.
Lets start with the Golden Gate Bridge in Disney’s California Adventure. The bridge will cease to be seen sometime next year when the entire Sunshine Plaza is closed off and rethemed.

In addition to that, a behind the scenes video has been released. The video is the first of several similar webisodes that will be released before opening night. The series will give you a variety of inside information on the event before it takes place.

The Golden Ticket Awards are back again for another year of the same results. I love when the internet coaster craze got started, because the Golden Ticket Awards seemed so geniune. Now they just seem like a place to buy some press. Cedar Point already has their acknowledgment up.
I don’t want to be negative here, but the awards are laughable. Magnaum XL 200 is “rated” the #7 coaster. Come on! I think Mitch’s poll and the coaster crowd as a whole have shown that not to be true. I guess …

Cedar Fair is at it again with another new wooden coaster. This beast is called Prowler and will be located in the Africa section of WOF. Prowler is essentially a new take an an out and back coaster.
Unlike out and back coasters of old, Prowler hugs the ground for the majority of the ride and seems to have very few airtime moments. In my opinion most out and back coasters seem to have a lot of hills associated with them. It’s a nice contrast and I think it will work …
