If you have been watching the SpongeBob webcam over the past week or so at the Park at the Mall of America, you will see that the ride is nearing completion. Right before the release of our last podcast, (about 2 weeks ago) the first supports were making their way onto the site. Now the ride is almost done. An amazing amount of construction has taken place in the span of a few short days. There is still work to do, but the coaster is looking great. I love the colors and the layout looks like a blast. I can’t wait to read the boards and see this coaster abbreviated as “SBSPRBP.” Sleeper hit of 2008 anyone?
