Not Mel, but a 70 foot Gibson Guitar was just installed at Hard Rock Park. The guitar is now the world’s largest. “We are proud and honored to have Gibson Guitar’s support,” said Steven Goodwin, CEO of Hard Rock Park. “Gibson has truly defined the look, sound and feel of rock ‘n’ roll and their innovation has inspired countless artists and music genres, many of which are represented right here in this Park.” The guitar will sit on top of a Gibson store, bringing the total height of the structure …

Just a few days ago the first of two bridges that cross the road for the Ravine Flyer 2 were installed. The more I look at this coaster, the more I want to go on it. I can’t wait to see this thing in action. Click here to read the full story and watch a video on the bridge installation.

I went to visit a friend in Hershey today and I decided to stop in Chocolate World to pick up some delicious candy. I also happened to grab a couple of photos of the Fahrenheit track sitting in the parking lot as well as a few shots of Lightning Racer with snow on it.

Indiana Beach’s Blog posted a picture of the trains to be used for Steel Hawg. The colors and everything look great but I have some serious concerns with the restrains. They will be safe and all of that, but I’m guessing there is going to be a lot of head banging associated with them. The OTSR’s are the same style as Manhattan Express at New York, New York. As I mentioned when I posted the gallery of the ride, it was very uncomfortable. If the ride is made smooth enough …

Brandon’s Coaster.com has posted a few pictures of Fahrenheit’s track that is now resting in the parking lot of the park. The blue supports are a little brighter then I thought they would be and the track is just slightly on the red side, but it is exciting news. Now they just need to start getting this thing together.

If you have been watching the SpongeBob webcam over the past week or so at the Park at the Mall of America, you will see that the ride is nearing completion. Right before the release of our last podcast, (about 2 weeks ago) the first supports were making their way onto the site. Now the ride is almost done. An amazing amount of construction has taken place in the span of a few short days. There is still work to do, but the coaster is looking great. I love the …
