Roller Coaster Pro has posted a construction update of Der Mammut. The coaster is a Stengel design and will stand just shy of 100 feet tall.
You can view the layout of the coaster here. What I find interesting is the tunnel at the end of the ride. Most tunnels happen in the middle of the ride, this one occurs right before the brake run. It looks like a quality ride, too bad it is going to run Gerstlauer trains. Click here to view the full update.

An early Christmas present for all of you, a new album has been added to our gallery. This one comes from Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino.
There are 18 new pictures in all. Every one of those pictures is of the Desperado roller coaster located at Buffalo Bills. The “park” also has a log flume style ride, a drop tower, a frog hopper, and a ton of video games. I apologize for the amount of sun in the photos, we just happened to get there at that time of the day. …

“The first new monorail car in two decades slid onto the Disneyland track on Thursday as the theme park prepares for guests to ride it starting in late February.” You can read the full article at the OC Register.

I think these new monorails look awesome. The trains have different glass and colors that change with the sunlight. Each car in the train is a different color. Also the seating is different. There is now a bench that people can sit on that faces the windows. These new trains should help …

Hard Rock park has just updated its website with a ton of new pictures. Everything from the rides to the entry plaza is covered. The park sure looks like it is coming together. Click here to see the photos.
On another note,  Hard Rock decided to christen Led Zeppelin in their own way. Below is a YouTube video of how they did it.
