The 128 foot tall drop ride that was built in 1982 came to an end yesterday when it was imploded by the Dallas Demolition Company. This is in order to make room for SFOT’s new Tony Hawk coaster.

 The picture is courtesy of KDFW, a Fox affiliate. They have a small writeup here. Sadly their helicopter did not catch the actual implosion. As much as I hate it when certain rides go by the wayside, this would of been really cool to watch.
