So we have been doing this podcasting thing for a little while now (coming up on one year actually) and we have yet to tell you how we do it. There are a lot of quality coaster related podcasts out there, but I think there is room for more. I’m going to explain, step by step how we record, edit, and publish our podcast in hopes of getting a few more out there.
To begin with, podcasting is basically recording your voice and putting it onto the internet for others to …

Six Flags Great America’s Deja Vu has run for the last time. The Giant Vekoma Boomerang will not be operating at the mid-western amusement park in the 2008 season. The last rides were given to local ACErs on Sunday night.
It’s possible that the ride will be sold to another amusement park, like it’s brother that operated at Six Flags Over Georgia for the last time this season. At this point the only Deja Vu that has not been hit by the axe is the one operating at Six Flags Magic …

I was at Six Flags Great Adventure last weekend to get my last rides in of the season. Before I ever got into the park, I was handed a small card that had a Guest Code of Conduct printed on it. Handing out the cards were not annoying picture people either, they were security guards. I was kind of surprised but also pleased to see that this was being done. I have a few quick updates that don’t require a single post themselves.
Disney unveiled it’s logo for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Overall I like the logo, its a good mesh of classic Disney and a little new stuff. The logo I have to the right is the more black and which version (since you can’t see the color that well) but the full sized logo is outlined in gold and looks pretty spiffy.
Thrill-Pics.com has posted some new images of the Chiller’s deconstruction. I was at the park last weekend, but I …

Breaking news, you heard it here first… Along with a renaming of the park to California’s Great America, a Top Spin named Firefall in 2008, and a GCI in 2009, it sure looks like they won’t be letting the 49ers buy the park. The GCI will stand at 104ft, travel 52mph, at a 2 minute length, and feature a station-fly-by. You can read the full press release here: click me

Johnnyupsidedown.com has captured some great images of the construction of Hard Rock Park. Just the other day they posting something really special, the front of the Led Zeppelin train. I am shocked at how fast they have gotten this ride together and even more shocked that the trains have already showed up.
I would highly suggest checking out the rest of the pictures from Johnnyupsidedown.com as they have some great shots of the parks progress.
