For Those of You Who Don’t Know Me…
I figured it would be a good idea to introduce myself to all of you who may not know who I am (alright it was Nate’s idea, sheesh).
So, my name is Jake Sundstrom, I’m 15 and a Junior in highschool. My first roller coaster was Space Mountain when I was four years old. Now I would like to say I was born a roller coaster enthusiast that day, but sadly that is not the case. I not only cried but was put off riding roller coasters until the age of ten when some friends of mine forced me onto Kong at Sx Flags Discovery Kingdom. I loved every second of it. After that I took a spin on Medusa which still ranks as my number three coaster - period.
Since that time, I have been drawing, dreaming, writing about and loving theme parks and roller coasters with Disneyland being my favorite. Now living in the Southern California area (moved from Northern California) I get to experience some of the biggest scream machines ever built all year long (thats right be jealous). So as you can expect, I’m a huge Southern California coasters fan.
I also trekked to Cedar Point for the first time in June this year and enjoyed it, although I would still put it lower than Disneyland on my favorite parks list.
In an attempt to keep this to a semi-short length I’ll give you a quick run-down of myself. I’m very opinionated on everything and anything - so be warned. I love to debate anything amusement related as far as my opponent is willing to carry on. I love B&M coasters and am an avid wooden coaster fan. My favorite steel roller coaster is Maverick at Cedar Point and Ghostrider ranks as my number one wooden coaster.
I think that’s just about it! I’m very thankful to Nate for giving me this position, as I have always loved this site and the podcast. So..that’s it, if you have any questions, comments, complains (I’m sure we’ll get plenty of those) feel free to contact me at jakeismedusaman@gmail.com.

Heh, thanks for introducing yourself. Now people will know your last name and that the reviews are written by different people :).
