Led Zeppelin, rock's greatest band, have always flown just slightly under the media radar, shrouded in mystery and mystique. Consider the publicity The Stones get by comparison. I bet most people outside of Zeppelin's huge fan base would be surprised to know that Led Zeppelin have sold nearly twice as many albums as The Stones. I mention this because there are many that don't realize the mighty Zep were so much more than just the first and best hard rock/heavy metal band. They created so many brilliantly unique compositions of astonishing variety and scope that it's impossible for anyone familiar with their entire catalogue to label or limit them.
