Universal’s CityWalk kicks off summertime fun with a high energy “CityWalk Summer Block Party” showcasing a Latino music festival, an indie band showcase series, a teen idol talent search, and the ever-popular free outdoor movie night, all kicking off June 28 and continuing through September 1, 2007. While this isn’t fully amusement park news, it is kind of nice to see. If you have never been to one of the CityWalks’, it is a large group of clubs and restaurants that each have their own theme. It’s a nice place to be during the day, and a great place to be at night. I’ve always enjoyed myself when I have been at one of the CityWalks. The “Summer Block Party” seems like it has a lot going on and sounds fun. Free entertainment and movies is always a plus.
