S-curve is Done
The Cedar Point Blog reported that the S-curve has been fully installed. They are finishing up a few odds and ends, particularly painting, but other then that it should be ready for testing. According to the site:
“The next step is to complete our pre-opening testing. Once that’s complete and the State of Ohio has licensed the ride for operation, we can open. We still hope to have the ride open in early June. We’ll keep you posted.”

I have to say that I had my doubts, but it doesn’t look half bad. In this section of the ride, the train is going to be moving pretty fast. Going that fast close to the ground is always fun. The theming will help the feeling of speed as well. Low and close to the ground worked for Millennium Force, so I’m assuming that it will work here. With or without the heartline roll the ride sure looks like fun. Hopefully they can get it up and running soon.

Edit by Kevin: Ride is now scheduled to open Saturday May 26th.

I still think that it would have been better with the heartline, but this looks pretty sweet. I can’t wait to get on it in a month
