Now that’s a bummer. I’m interested to see if Cedar Point will continue to have a relationship after this mess up. This is two coasters in a row that have not lived up to expectations right off the bat.
I’m probably a little unpopular, because I am behind Intamin 100%.
Are their rides sometimes unreliable? Yes.
Have they had deaths? Yes.
Are they amazing top 10 rides? Absolutely.
We don’t know the full story… perhaps it was beyond anyone’s control, or beyond anything that someone could have foreseen. Perhaps Intamin did engineer it perfectly, but CP wants it to be even a little bit better. Perhaps it’s running faster than they thought it would. Who knows.
I knew they should have went with a B&M flyer.
But really, I’m sure it will be an amazing ride and I’m sure that it will be broken down more than it is up this first year.
