Six Flags launches new site

Well if you have been in the forums, you might have come across this thread. In the discussion, Six Flags’ website was mentioned as one of the least favorite amusement park website. Well today Six Flags launched a new site and I am totally blown away. It is an incredible improvement. It still uses flash, but it is very clean and not “clunky.” The parks all have new pages as well as all of the rides. They also unveiled a new rating system for rides. The ride pages are surprisingly complete, though I haven’t had the time to check it for accuracy.

They also have a trip planner, which allows you to add rides that you want to visit during your stay at the park. You can then print out the trip with directions to the park, special deals, a park map, and much more. This is a huge step up from the Six Flags site of old. Hopefully Six Flags can turn around their image like they did with their website.

I saw that this morning as well and it looks fantastic. but Six Flags is up to their old tricks by putting incorrect rides on their pages. On Ninja-SFMM page they have the Ninja from SFOG instead lol…
