Knott’s Great America name change update

According to RCDB the name of the park is indeed changing. If you look at the Great America page it is titled Knott’s Great America. It also indicates that the name change too place in 2007. We are just waiting on an official announcement on this, but if RCDB has it up, I have no trouble believing that it is going to happen. In our original post on this story the domain (that’s the web address) redirected to Great America’s current page. So with these two pieces of evidence, I’m sold on the fact that Great America is changing it’s name to Knott’s Great America.

I am still not sold, I think that RCDB might have jumped the gun here. I am one of those people that don’t usually buy into these rumors though, so who knows?
Plus is seems weird that they already invested into new print ads, season passes, and a new web design all to just change the name again. I’m not saying the name won’t change, it just seems odd.
