Let me preface this by saying that I really did enjoy my time at Universal Studios Hollywood today, the press event was very nice, and I had a fantastic time at the park, as always. Now, that being said, I have few kind things to say about their latest show, that has a flimsy script, generally weak song lyrics and a story that just makes me wonder what they were thinking.

OnPoint! the Cedar Point blog just released their PointCast episode 1. Basically it is a video version of what they talk about in their blog. In the first episode they visit Kings Island and talk about Diamondback. There is nothing groundbreaking that they cover, but it is fun to watch Tony and Tyler mess around. There is also a lot of season pass promotion which seems to be a good idea if you live there.
Terminator has finally opened up at SFMM. It has been getting some really great reviews, but the theming is so so. Jake was there for opening day and he should be getting on here sometime soon to get some more info and a review. A few RCPro members have posted some great pictures of the coaster. In particular I love the enterance sign. I’m still not a fan of the stuff they put on the side of the trains.
I got an email from our buddy Marty today informing us about a new construction blog for Hersheypark’s Boardwalk: The Seaquel addition. It’s an interesting read thus far, and I would definitely recommend it to all of you!

It has been awhile since we have heard anything from the Gravity Group on their new Timberliner trains. Infact, I had all but forgotten about them until today. Holiday World posted a video of the Timberliner cars testing on the Raven. To quote the video:
